Research Data & Operations Assistant (CMDM Lab, UHH)
Hamburg, Germany | September 2025 - ongoing
As a part of the CMDM Lab (PI: Prof. Dr. Sebastian Gluth), I work as a data collection and research assistant. This role involves in instructing and accompanying participants who volunteer to join in decision making studies. In addition, I organize the flow of the testing sessions. After the final part of data collection, I will also take over data analysis. In close collaboration with the lab manager, I also develop guides to make integration of the newly employed people run more smoothly. This lab is the most international and multi-cultural lab of the psychology department, which improves my working and collaboration style and helped me implement the previously learned skills in the LMoC Lab.

In a project that involves more than 250 scientists from all over the world, I am responsible for assessing their qualifications based on objective factors such as h-index, publications, impact factors and citations. I work with large spreadsheets and organize, filter, clean, and analyze data and build personalized dashboards of qualifications of the involved people in the project. The data is catches from Google Scholar servers, using a script that I developed via R programming language to optimize the assessment process by automation of repetitive tasks. The result of this project is expected to be published in a world class journal.
Research Assistant (Learning & Mechanisms of Change (LMoC), UHH)
Hamburg, Germany | March 2025 - August 2025
To gain deeper insight into the research process and acquire hands-on experience, I manage participant data, recruit participants, and expand my knowledge in computational modelling. This diverse set of tasks not only challenges my flexibility in handling a wide range of responsibilities but also actively involves me in the research process, allowing me to gain practical experience under the guidance of post-doctoral researchers Dr. Alexa Ruel, Dr. Xiangjuan Ren, and Dr. Alexander Nitsch at the Learning & Mechanisms of Change department at the University of Hamburg. The LMoC Lab is an international lab which requires flexibility, cultural awareness, and interpersonal skills to work in.
